Superintendents Academy (2-days)

October 9 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$597.00 – $727.00

Every crew, every schedule, every safety call, every owner conversation — it all runs through one person: the Superintendent.

The Superintendent is arguably the single most important person on the jobsite. Whether it’s vertical or horizontal construction, the role of the superintendent is crucial in ensuring safe and effective performance in the field. Successful project outcomes are highly dependent upon the Superintendent’s ability to bring order and organization to an otherwise disorganized, dangerous, and chaotic environment. Superintendents must effectively manage resources in the field including manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and material flow. The Superintendent is the hub of field operations, providing coordination among all of the diverse crews as well as being the owner’s point of contact. Beyond these parties, the Superintendent must communicate with a myriad of other interested and affected stakeholders during the course of the project.

Why This Course Matters
There is no such thing as status quo. You’re either going up or going down. Those who are going up are continually learning, growing, and getting better. Superintendent training enhances communication and leadership skills, generating greater project success rates. Research has shown that strong leadership and management can increase team engagement by as much as 65%.
