The association has facilities in Philadelphia, Suburban Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. Formed in 1962, The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter is an association created by contractors for the betterment of the entire construction industry.
ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter members are general contractors, specialty contractors, material suppliers, and industry professionals who have joined together to improve the region’s commercial construction industry and support merit shop construction.

ABC Eastern Pennsylvania serves the construction industry and the communities in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Monroe, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming Counties.

Throughout the year, ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter facilitates a variety of awards programs to recognize members for their commitment to safety, training, education, quality, and dedication to ABC.
EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION Awards (EIC)
The Excellence in Construction® Awards celebration honors the nation’s most innovative and high-quality construction projects and world-class safety, inclusion, diversity and merit programs. The best merit shop projects of 2026 will be celebrated at ABC Eastern PA’s Awards Gala on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Presidential Caterers in Norristown, PA.

STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) AWARDS
The Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. STEP Certificates will be awarded at an ABC Event.
ACCREDITED QUALITY CONTRACTOR (AQC)
The Accredited Quality Contractor program was launched in 1993. It is a program which publicly recognizes and honors those construction firms which have documented their commitment in five key areas of corporate responsibility.
