$25.00 – $50.00Act 142 went into effect on January 1, 2017 and Dramatically impacts the rights of PA Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers who are interested in protecting, preserving, and filing mechanics lien claims on projects whose total value exceed $1.5 Million. A new online Construction Notices Directory has been established in the state, and all participants on a project will need to understand how to log in, enter data and monitor job status.

Robert R. Watson, Jr. is a Shareholder in the firm’s Blue Bell, Montgomery County office and he is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
Bob has focused his practice on construction litigation and municipal law since being admitted to the bar. His experience includes work with large and small contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, municipalities, municipal authorities, developers, public utilities, school districts and individual owners. His litigation experience also includes extensive work with lending institutions, and through those efforts he has gained invaluable commercial collections expertise. He is a frequent lecturer on construction payment claims, and has proven himself to be a zealous advocate of his construction clients seeking overdue payments on public and private projects in the state and federal courts. Bob has also served as an arbitrator in both private and compulsory arbitrations.
