Small Business B(AI)sics

October 23 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Stop Wondering About AI. Start Using It.

Between managing your team, keeping the books, chasing down customer feedback, and trying to market your business — who has time to figure out AI on top of everything else? This session meets you where you are. No tech background, no jargon, just practical guidance you can put to use right away.

Presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, this interactive session walks you through real small business case studies of AI solving everyday problems — from a business owner using AI to win back customers who haven’t come back in months, to another using AI to draft a business plan in a fraction of the time. Whether you run a construction company or any other small business, you’ll learn the difference between AI that automates a task for you and AI that helps you do your job better, and how to apply both across key areas of your business: strategy, sales and marketing, customer service, hiring, and finance.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with your own personal AI action plan — a real first step toward solving one specific challenge in your business, built using a simple, repeatable framework for writing effective prompts.

What You’ll Learn:

  • What AI is (and isn’t) — and the difference between AI that automates and AI that assists
  • Simple, repeatable frameworks for writing prompts that get you real results
  • Real small business case studies, from marketing win-backs to business plan drafts
  • How to spot the AI opportunity hiding in your own biggest business pain point
  • Important best practices for protecting your business data when using AI tools

Who Should Attend:

  • Small business owners and entrepreneurs
  • Office managers and administrative staff

  • Open to both ABC Eastern PA members and non-members
