Learn how to control layers and linetypes, create and edit blocks, and apply proper text and dimensioning techniques. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to produce clean, well-annotated drawings that meet professional drafting standards.
Session 1: Beginning to Draft, April 2nd
- Understanding and Controlling Layers and Linetypes
- Working with Hatch Patterns
- Working with Grouped Objects
- Creating and Using Named Blocks
- Editing and Re-Defining Blocks
Session 2: Annotation Tools, April 3rd
- Understanding Text and Dimension Styles
- Adding Text Annotations to a Drawing
- Adding Dimension Annotation to a Drawing
- Working with Associative Annotations
