DESCRIPTION:If you perform work in Philadelphia\, all site supervisors now need the OSHA 30-hour certification. \n\n\n \n\n\nThis in-depth 4 day course is designed to educate construction professionals on federal regulations and compliance. It is a must for those desiring a complete understanding of OSHA regulations. The course is also instructive on how to communicate critical safety information to other employees.\n\n\n\n\nThis class will be held on June 22nd\, 23rd\, 24th & 25th. All attendees must bring a photo ID and if available a laptop but not necessary. Books/materials & lunch will be included. Class must meet a minimum of 3 attendees to run.

DESCRIPTION:This class will be held July 13th\, 14th\, 15th & 16th from 8:00am-4:00pm Register Here: https://www.oshamidatlantic.org/training/osha-3095-electrical-standards-35/ \nThis course covers OSHA Electrical Standards and the hazards associated with electrical installations and equipment.  Course topics include single- and three-phase systems\, cord- and plug-connected and fixed equipment\, grounding\, ground fault circuit interrupters\, and safety-related work practices. Emphasis is placed on electrical hazard recognition and OSHA Standards\, policies\, and procedures and applicable portions of the National Electrical Code (NEC).  Students will participate in workshops on the safe and correct use of electrical testing equipment.  Upon course completion students will have the ability to understand the severity of electrical current on the human body\, recognize and evaluate actual and potential electrical hazards and reference the applicable OSHA Standard\, determine hazard abatement measures\, and understand the proper use of electrical testing equipment. \n\nUpon Completion of this course students will learn to: \n\nDetect electrical hazards\, determine which OSHA standards apply\, and achieve the appropriate abatement\nProperly use safety electrical test equipment\nUnderstand the effects of electrical current on the human body with respect to voltage\, current path\, and the duration of exposure\nIdentify and value OSHA electrical standards\nUnderstand how the National Electrical Code ties into OSHA’s electrical standard\nStudents will understand the 2024 edition of NFPA 70E and learn the latest information about the effects of arc flash\, arc blast\, and direct current (dc) hazards\, and recent developments in electrical design and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\n\nStudent Contact Hours: 26 \nPrerequisites: None \nCourse Includes: Student materials \nCourse Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm \n\nCourse Fee: $845.00 \nPlease note\, you must pass the exam with an 80% or higher to attend the following Trainer Course.
