DESCRIPTION:Join Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter at our East Norriton office for our June Safety Roundtable on June 23rd from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM. \nWe’re excited to welcome Scott Shimandle as he leads an important discussion on heat illness prevention ahead of the summer months. Scott will cover heat awareness\, job site safety best practices\, and the resources that OSHA can provide to help protect your employees during extreme summer temperatures.  He will also discuss the National Emphasis Program (NEP). This is a  temporary program that focus OSHA’s resources on particular hazards and high-hazard industries. \nWe are also excited to have Brian Devaney a safety professional to educate us on resources and products that are available. Brian Devaney is a safety professional\, firefighter\, and traffic incident management trainer with more than 26 years of experience protecting workers in high-risk environments. Specializing in construction\, roadway\, utility\, and emergency response safety\, he is passionate about advancing worker protection through education\, leadership\, and real-world solutions. Brian is recognized for his work in fall protection\, respiratory protection\, head protection advocacy\, and roadway worker safety\, as well as his commitment to building stronger safety cultures across the industries he serves. \nDon’t miss this timely and informative session focused on keeping your workforce safe this summer and our peer discussions with other members. \nThis meeting is open to ABC Members Only.
