These materials and processes are normally encountered by the student in the workplace. \nThis class provides a starting point for developing the mathematical skills necessary through practice and application to the construction trade. Calculations and quantities of volumes and areas will include trades such as concrete\, masonry and carpentry as well as others. \nThe class will provide hands-on detailed estimating procedures in which students learn how to estimate the general conditions of a construction project\, site work\, excavation\, concrete and masonry as well as other trade disciplines.
