Attendees will gain actionable insights on how to interpret financial reports\, identify potential issues early\, and apply industry benchmarks to strengthen both project performance and overall company results. \nLearning Objectives:\nBy the end of this seminar\, participants will be able to: \n\nExplain the purpose and key components of contractor financial statements as they relate to construction operations.\nUse core financial ratios and industry benchmarks to quickly evaluate a contractor’s financial health.\nRecognize common financial warning signs\, including underbillings\, overbillings\, and profit fade\, and understand their impact on performance and risk\, including how sureties use this information to make decisions.\nApply basic analytical techniques\, including backlog evaluation and gain/fade analysis\, to support stronger project and company-level decision making.\n\n\nPresenter:\n \nMatthew Boland\, CPA\, CCIFP CBIZ \nMatt Boland is a Managing Director in CBIZ’s West Conshohocken\, PA office\, providing audit and assurance services to construction industry clients and contractors.
